Peter`s Cornucopia in New Hartford

Ignored in line while clerk with white hair chatted with customer ahead of me. I asked the other cashier if she would serve me at another desk but sent me to original spot, where I told her "the clerk is talking" This dark haired clerk gave me an unhappy look and a rather cold "Have a good day" at the end of the transaction. Sun. Aug. 12, around 11am

This place is great. The “alternative” food selection is amazing. They have the biggest gluten free section in the area and the staff are super friendly. I love the bulk section as I need to get my Brazil nut fix and if I’m feeling like a treat, I get coconut or almond rolled dates. Oh my, sooo good. Please check them out.Also, they have a killer little coffeeshop/deli :)

Love this little place. The cafe is awesome!! Best smoothies anywhere. The blueberry cookies are to die for! Go early for cookies they sell out quick. The prices are way too high though especially for this area.

Excellent choice of organic and natural foods.

Disappointed lately. I’ve always been able to get a very good gluten-free sandwich at Peter’s. Been coming here for years! But now they switched the bread because it’s “less expensive” and it’s very disappointing and just not that good. You say it’s less expensive but if people are going to buy the sandwich then you’re losing out all together. Guess I’ll be getting my gluten-free sandwiches elsewhere, because now you have at least three or four places that can compete in the gluten-free arena. I’ll still come for other items, but will skip the cafe, sadly!

My go-to place for lunch in New Hartford. I have ALWAYS been so pleased with their menu.

very tasty. staff is always super friendly and helpful. unfortunate they are in the new Hartford shopping plaza - convenient but the whole plaza looks and feels like a war zone but peters is nice. their cafe is fantastic. they used to carry organic, nitrate free ham but no longer. shame cuz their Shiloh split green peas made a great soup.

Nice grocery store with great prepared foods to eat in or take away. Their vegan BLT is spectacular.

Cafetopia is out of this world! Props to all of the employees, you guys are killing it!

Its a tad pricey, but Andrea was so helpful in showing me where to find the vegan items I was looking for. They have an excellent selection of vegan goods and Andrea was so warm and knowledgable. If you are vegan or wanting to be ask for Andrea she assisted me big time. Also the avocado toast in the cafe and the Kumbucha fountain are worth the trip!

Terrible customer service multiple times from the cashier with short bright gray hair. Prices are almost double than online or other stores. The cafe is over priced too and portions are small. If you go there and the gray hair old lady is the cashier, avoid her services!!! She gives customers attitude and will not greet you the way cashiers should. Don’t recommend this store and after last visit, will never go there again!

A nice mix between a healthy supplement store and a good healthy/hip/delicious restaurant. I highly recommend trying their sandwiches and wraps! Wide variety cheap tasty food. I have not been disappointed yet!

It has a nice variety of health foods, however some of the products are higher priced than at other stores (of the same brands). But generally it’s a nice place to shop with helpful and polite employees.

Excellent store if you want to eat good food. They sell organic foods as well. Their cafe is greaaaaaaaat with all good and delicious foods...and last not the least, this is the store for healthy people (or who wants to stay healthy).

Always great. Fresh, healthy, and quick. It's a nice place for lunch. I was very sad to see the Greekness wrap go from the menu. But there are plenty of other delicious options. The smoothies are awesome as well.

Great health food store! Pete's generally has a great selection, and what they don't stock they will order in. Their bulk prices are especially beyond fair; sometimes lower than online prices.Friendly and knowledgeable. Who could ask for more?

A great healthy option!

This is probably the best stocked natural food and goods store in the region. They have many items in stock that similar stores do not. I will say, however, that the prices are a bit higher. You can often find many of their products cheaper in other stores, but the trade-off is that you have to travel around to different places for different items.

You have an excellent variety of products but I'd rather take the trip to Vitamin Shoppe right around the block. Your prices can be insane and after numerous times comparing prices on products; 100% of the time, they are cheaper at another vitamin store.

I found this place while passing through the area. Their food was well made in the Café and tasted great! The store had a wide variety of organic and non-GMO products including some local products as well.

Customer service in the cafe is very poor, and the mgr of cafe needs to recieve better customer service training and skills. Will not go to cafe again. Over priced not worth the trouble!!
